CSS George Page, a 410-ton side-wheel steamship, was built at Washington, D.C., in 1853 as a U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps transport. She was captured by Southern forces at Aquia Creek, Virginia, in May 1861 and taken into the Confederate Navy. Possibly renamed City of Richmond at some point, she was employed on the Potomac River near Quantico, Virginia. On 7 July 1861 she was damaged by gunfire from USS Pocahontas. George Page was destroyed to prevent capture on 9 March 1862
